mp3DirectCut 2.0.5 - Questions & Suggestions

last weekend, I used mp3DirectCut 2.05 for editing some audiofiles.
It worked really well, and now I have some questions + suggestions:

Questions:

* The Margin-button is not explained in the helppages,
and when enabled, I don't see what it does.

* Settings/Config/Encoder: the Add- and Del-buttons are disabled.
I would like to prepare some setting (voice/music/...), but I don't
see how this should be done.

* Settings/Config/Operation - skip values: how much are the default 383
and 2297 frames, and why were these odd number choosen ?
An option to skip with the left- and right-keys (as well as clicking in the scroll-
area) as much frames as fit into the width of the display would be nice.

* Undo: the manual for v2.0.5 does not mention it, so it is not clear
which and how many operations can be undone.
Changing the text of the menu-entry to show what will be undone next
(e.g. "Undo: volume change in area 2") would be helpful.

* The version-number in mp3DirectCut.exe.manifest is different from 2.0.5:

Suggestions:

* A new button for "Play complete selection" (i.e. the opposite of "as cut"),
or maybe as a right-click-option for the play-button.

* Tickmarks in the map-area, showing minutes (or 5 minutes for longer files)

* VU-meter: some more ticks between -12dB and -48dB, or show the value
at the cursorposition when not playing.
This would be helpful for adjusting the threshold for the pause-detection.

* Pause-detection:
** checkmark to search for pauses only in the selected area.
** drop-down menu for selecting different settings

* Dialog for naming parts when splitting a recording:
** PREV- and NEXT-buttons for browsing between the parts
** Copy the content of the "Artist"-field from a previous part,
e.g. via a button or checkbox.

* For recording an analog signal as mp3, an external mp3-encoder is needed.
It would be nice if the path to such an mp3-encoder could be specified in
the ini-file (e.g. when this encoder is in the directory of a ripper like CDex).

* Volume-Changes: I think it would be easier if volume-changes
could be applied to the selected range.

* Commandline-option /join has already been proposed by someone...

Since nobody replied to my other post, I'll say it again. Please add support for AC-3 and DTS formats with some basic visualization.
