Mp3DirectCut crash with command line

Hello,

I am an intensive user of this marvelous software for years now.
Mostly I use it to split large audio books into shorter pieces.

However, I never use the command line function of Mp3DirectCut, because it always crashes when I try to use the commandline, independent of the called function.
The examples in the manual seem not to work in my case.
I normally use %F_%N as split files.

Can anyone help me?

I tried this on 3 different computers, but on all of them Mp3DirectCut crashes.
