Hi,
I found that 1by1 freezes when I want to jump to a determined track position in ogg files. I'm using 1by1 1.66 + the ogg plugin posted here
You can see the problem with this ogg file

| Yes I can confirm this with in_vorbis.dll 1.35 and 1by1 1.66. |

Yes. The seek problem with the Vorbis plugin is known for a long time. But a solution for 1by1 still is not known.

Hi,
The useful solution is turning the "Priority " setting to "normal" or belower.
I use 1by1 1.66 with in_vorbis.dll 1.43 to play the kahvi146b_migloje_kas_yra_deze.ogg. There is no freezing when I jump to a determined track position. |

Thanks for tip, I uncheck "high task priority" but nothing change, I even set the priority of 1by1 to "idle" with PE but the problem persist, I still get freezes and a 100% of cpu consumption during the seeking in ogg files
Otherwise no problems at all to play ogg files in foobar2000 or AIMP.

Don't see the reason to remove the link, that mp3 like most of the music stored in www.archive.org are under this license so everyone is free "to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work" without problem |

You may be right, but we can't check the copyrights in every single case. So please add license-information when posting those links. |

That was a great tip, oneflyfish! It actually solved my very last remaining need for a secondary player (i.e. being able to properly seek OGG files). With your permission, I would like to expand on the explanation, because I think TGB72 went for a different (probably the Windows-enviroment's) priority setting, instead of the one for the decoder INSIDE 1by1 (since there's no possibility to "uncheck high task priority" in that one). So:
====================================================================
IF YOU'RE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS (1BY1 HANGS) WHEN SEEKING OGG FILES:
Inside 1by1, go to "Settings > Decoder". Select the "in_vorbis" plugin and press the "Settings" button below. Set the "Priority" slider in the "Normal" position (it's on "Highest" by default). You can also try lower values if the hanging persists.
====================================================================
Tested with three PCs and the "Normal" priority worked just perfect for all of them, no need to use lower values. Also, it was tested and works with at least the following versions of "in_vorbis.dll": v1.22, v1.29, v1.32, v1.35, v1.43.
Again, thanks a lot, oneflyfish
P.S.: IMHO this work-around should be added to 1by1's readme. |

Certainly was a great tip, I didn't realize about the plugins settings till now . Now I can seek perfectly in ogg files, no more freezes.
Thanks a lot to both, to oneflyfish for the great tip and to 7Orfeo7 for clarify it.

Thanks a lot for your tips! It really works fine for me, too.
I will add the work-around to the 1by1 documentation.
