mp3DirectCut 2.10: Pre-listen doesn't work

I just upgraded to 2.10 from 2.05, and the pre-listen buttons don't work! I am trying to cut vbr mp3 files, that worked just fine in 2.05. I tried increasing the pre-listen time in the settings, but that made no difference.

Fortunately, I saved the install file for version 2.05, and reverted to that.

I have Vista Home Premium 32bit, SP1, fully updated, with UAC disabled

Yes, this bug occurs, if the selection starts at the beginning of the file, or if the space between the beginning of the file and the beginning of the selection is short. If the selection is at a later position, prelisten works, doesn't it?
I think the bug came with the adjustable prelisten time, and it will be corrected in the next version.

The selection started at the beginning of the file, and ended about 7 minutes in, about 50 minutes from the end of the file. It would not pre-listen to the end of the selection, or from the end of the selection. I didn't try any of the other pre-listen buttons, because they didn't apply. I tried the default pre-listen time of 20 tenths, and 500 tenths, but it made no difference.

Workaround for listening from the end of a selection:
Move to the end of the selection by pressing Cursor-Down or the button [ >>..| ] - and then start normal play.

I had a lot of cutting the last few days and this bug is really annoying.

Another bug seems to be the following:
If you set an END mark within a region of 2 seconds before the end and press the "Prelisten 2 seconds from the END mark [F8]", this button keeps pressed. You cannot press any other prelisten button but only STOP. The same appear for [F9]

Would be nice to get the new version soon.

Both bugs were simple to find. In the next version they should be fixed.
