Hallo Martin,
erst einmal vielen Dank für die tolle neue Version 1.67.
Ich stelle fest, dass die neue "on no present image..."-Funktion bei mir dann funktioniert, wenn ich den Big view nicht "embedded" habe. Dann erscheint das im settings folder hinterlegte Bild im Programmfenster unterhalb des Trees.
Wenn ich allerdings den Big View embedde, wird das im Settings Folder hinterlegte Bild nicht angezeigt, sofern "no image present" ist.
Die on no present image...-Funktion scheint also im embedded-mode nicht zu funktionieren... oder mache ich etwas falsch?

Die Funktion soll in erster Linie dafür sorgen, dass der Platz unter dem Treeview auch ohne Bild gefüllt wird, damit sich die Höhe des Trees nicht ändert. Das geht dummerweise aus der - eh schon holprigen - Checkbox-Beschreibung nicht hervor. Besser wäre vielleicht: "On no image fill space below tree with standard picture from the settings folder". Andere Lösung wäre, das Bild auch im Embedded zu zeigen ;)

Letzteres wäre prima
Zumal beim Embedded das "On no image..."-Ersatzbild auch nicht unter dem Tree angezeigt wird. |

Nein, beim eingeschalteten Embedded gibt es nur dort das Bild - nicht gleichzeitig unter dem Baum. Die Checkbock müsste korrekterweise also heißen: "On missing image fill the space below the tree view with a standard picture from the program folder - if the embedded big title view is disabled". |

Sorry, I had to go to google translate to understand exactly what you were talking about... 
Since I "kind of " understand what you were actually discussing, I must say I loved this new function!! L-O-V-E-D! Thank you so much!
Back in the old thread, when we were discussing the implementation of the cover art, I think I might have said how I was not too pleased with the directory tree going back and forth, alternating its height; it would get kind of confusing when browsing trhough directories (albums).
I don't know what actually propelled you to make this improvement on the program, but I can just be grateful for it.
Here's the image art I made for the default album with no cover image:
(all my folder covers are 300x300px)
Thank you so much, Martin, your 1by1 program is heaven on earth... Seriously, it's just amazing! It's exactly what I would like to do if I were a good programer...

hilarious that image of yours!
It's so well made that it really took me a while to figure it out. Since I don't believe there is such a small headphone  (mainly because there is no use for it, hehehe...), I must say that is a really seamless photoshop work. Nice job!
I must thank you also for demonstrating that we could actually use IMG tags in this forum (it should be obvious, but since I didn't saw any hint of it around here, I never used - or maybe I did and I forgot about it...). I'm starting to think maybe I can also use BOLD and ITALIC tags here also...

Wow, tolle Bilder. Aber damit, dass das Ersatzbild auch im "Embedded" angezeigt werden soll, kann ich mich nur mühsam anfreunden. Denn es soll ja in erster Linie dafür sorgen, dass der Baum seine Größe nicht ändert. Andererseits wäre ein Standardbild im Embedded ja auch nicht weiter schlimm.

Nice pics. This 1by1 alpha version allowes wildcards in the standard folder picture name again.

Hi, Martin,
I can see what you mean... A simple 1px single color .jpg image could do the same trick and wouldn't mislead the user in thinking that the album actually has a cover. (Is that what you meant?)
I agree with you, but one of the most beautiful things in your programming is that you are able to keep 1by1 as simple, fast and small as possible and still gives us "advanced users" a lot of options to further customize our version according to our use.
(Oh, yeah, and I also love the fact that 1by1 is totally self-contained and USB portable, you should advertize that more often... maybe even include an option for "portable" in your .exe installer - which would simply mean no start menu group and no add/remove program entry)
Having said that, in the subject of images I like being a little silly  and using personalized covers and toobars. It's no big deal, though. If you were to remove these options from the program for any particular reason, 1by1 would still be my program of choice for listening to music (18 hours a day!! Yeah!!.  )
P.S.: sorry for using english in a german post... My grandfather always wanted me to learn german, but I was too young and thought it was a very difficult idiom to learn. |

Es würde das Feature "Bild anzeigen" bzw. "Ersatzbild anzeigen" komplettieren.

Super, vielen Dank
Ich persönlich bevorzuge das im Bigview embeddede Bild, da hier der Hintergrund des Bildes dem definierten Hintergrund des Programmfensters entspricht., anders als im Treeview. |
