1by1: Open URL / Music Stream

Hi. I've checked all English posts regarding this and don't think it has come up. However my German vocabulary is 1% so apoligies if it has been brought up.

I was wondering if files on servers (http & ftp protocols) could be streamed/played, similar to the function of Window Media Players 'Open URL' function. This seems to be the only reason I use WMP these days. Helps to play files across LAN's or teh internet. Also it has the option to save the file from cache once complete.

Unfortunally it's not possible to play streaming audio with 1by1.
I did some testing wirh 3rd-party-plugins, but no success.

It'll be a very nice feature to have in 1by1.

In response to gaga I do realise it is not possible at the moment, sorry if I seemed to ask that
It was meant to be a feature request which I didn't explain.
But I would have thought it wouldn't be too difficult to implement in a later version
Nice to see support for it from 7Orfeo7. Any 1 else?!
