Hi, Martin:
This is not a big deal, but I was thinking if maybe you can add just a little info to the Manual/Readme about the accepted image formats for cover art.
For example, I was trying to make this cover look as good as possible when saving it as JPG (different apps, compressions, quality settings, etc.), in order to use it with 1by1, with no luck. This is the best I can get as JPG, and look at those ugly red letters (original has perfect definition and contrast)...
But then I find out that you can also use BMPs and GIFs! Simply by using a wildcard character (asterisk ) for the file extension, under "Settings > Display > Cover art". For example: folder.* instead of folder.jpg. That allows you to use all three image formats at the same time.
Maybe adding something like "Supported formats are JPG, GIF and BMP." to the Readme (and a mention to the wildcard character).
Like I said, no big deal; just a suggestion. I know I spent quite a wile struggling with that JPG, when I already had the solution; using a BMP (even a GIF with 256, indexed colors looks way better than that JPG) .
Cheers,
Gabriel.
P.S.: Other (relatively) common image formats like PNG, TIF and TGA crashed 1by1. |
