mp3DirectCut feature request: export cue-sheet template

Joining some files into single track mp3DirectCut creates cue-sheet. But unable to save this cue-sheet as *.cue file. mp3DirectCut says:
"To create a Cue sheet, the project must not contain cuts or insertions."
I think good idea is exporting template of cue-sheet which contains a minimal sample data (e.g. time-mark of each track) to be loaded over that single track and edited then.
Look, right now I do it like this:
1) open some mp3's and copy/paste them into single track; save it;
2) close all files but that single track;
3) open it in another program window;
4) walk through all cues (ctrl+left / ctrl+right) in first window and set same cues in second one MANUALLY (C-button);
5) edit cue-sheet information and save it (in second window).
Too many unnecessary action, am I right? In another words my idea is replacing 4th point with "save *.cue from first window and load it into second window".
Or better - skip points 2-4 and just save cue-sheet in FIRST window
