Hello
Is it possible to make "Show subfolder content" as a checkable option instead of a function?
I mean you can tick it when you want to list a few subfolders content one after another oner and "unchecked" if I don't want to use it.
I think it's better option instead of clicking it every time when you want to scan subfolders. |

Not easily possible:
If it would be checked and the user clicks on a top level folder with 50.000 tracks under it, the search engine would list all of them. |

Well, user should know what is he doing... but:
There can be a warning message showing up during first usage with "don't show it again" check box. That should be enough.
What do you thing about it? |

a solution to this could be expanding 1by1 from a "dir only" player to a "dir and file player") - being able to select / deselect directories and files separately (see screenshot in this forum article: http://www.mpx.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21500).
Selecting/deselecting a directory means selecting/deselecting all subdirectories and all files in those directories, selecting/deselecting single files means selecting/deselecting those files only.
a directory can be either
- selected (with all subdirs and files in this tree selected as well)
- partially selected (only some subdirs and/or files in this tree are selected)
- unselected (no subdir/file in this tree is selected) |
