http://mpesch3.de1.cc (Final released)
Most functions of 1by1 are running in unicode mode now, including the folder tree. Unicode support is enabled automatically on XP or later. For plugin play unicode is still not supported (would need winamp 5 plugins). Feel free to test and report.

What happened to paths, setting one like c:\folder doesn't work anymore.
And speaking of folders, why set "last_folder=" when "start in base" is enabled
it has no effect so why not leave it empty?
With "start in base" don't set last_file and last_folder, after all it's ment for portable use. |

What does not work anymore? Can you tell the steps? What is your System?
Indeed, the paths from the ini file of older versions will not work and must be set new. Only the Favorites should be converted.
I don't understand your problem with the start in base folder option. If it's enabled and there is no base set, 1by1 should start in its own folder. Otherwise it should start in MyDocuments. Both cases only if the path of the current file is not valid, of course. |

Testing 1.73beta.
Is it possible the performer & title tag isn't extended yet?
It's limited to 99 characters. everything after 99 characters isn't displayed
Look good so far. |

You mean the Cue sheet fields for window title and Big view?
Didn't I extend them? I'll check it. |

Yes, that's the point, why set the path at all (last_folder=) when "start in base" is enabled?
That's unnecessary writing to the ini for something that isn't used
and is wrong if you change the pc (and the drive letter changes). |

Alben [keinerlei Sonderzeichen, keine Tags]. Ich verwende den ACM-Decoder von Windows 7 x64. Mit der 1.72 ist alles in Ordnung. |

Those too
Ive added a screenshot to make it clear: http://img690.imageshack.us/f/screenprintf.jpg/
It's in 3 places:
1. In the main program bar on the top.
2. In the playlist window on the right side (in yellow)
3. As you mentioned in big title view (bottom of the screen).
After "Captivating sounds" the text stops everything after it is not displayed anymore. The last "s" from "sounds" is the 99th character of the title-tag.
Also can you fix the error "Next: [cue sheet / n.n.]
In this place the MAIN performer + title-tag should be displayed.
This worked fine in versions earlier than 1.72, so a new bug |

That problem is fixed. Thank you !!!!
After a quick test I think I found some "big title" issues.
I added 2 screenshots to explain:
http://img191.imageshack.us/i/1by1.jpg/
http://img155.imageshack.us/i/1by12.jpg/
(screenshot 1)
I tried to configure the big title view so that the main performer tag and the main title tag is displayed, but I can't get it displayed. Is the "extra info" option still working? Or am I doing something wrong?
(screenshot 2)
For several different layouts the "current playing track", the "next track" and the "2nd track" don't update when the playlist advances
(screenshot 1 - not a bug, just a layout issue)
Another small issue: The "Length" collumn in cuesheet mode is alligned to the left, In file mode the "Length" collumn is alligned to the right
Can they both be alligned to the right? So that seconds are under each other alligned, and minutes are alligned unther each other.
Right now when a track is longer then 9'59'' (see screenshot) the length is not lined under each other.
That's it, I'll continue to do some testing and report if I find a problem. |

New update above.
Both problems had the same reason: 1by1 did not update the big view fields when only one item was in the pattern list for the main title. Now "-;a;i" should work, but i and - usually bring the same results, as i is just the option to force normal title display in the info rows.
The length column in cue sheet mode cannot be right aligned because of a technical reason: on cue sheets for vbr files 1by1 scans the complete audio to get the correct cue positions. The file positions are stored besides the length info in the list. May be it's possible to find another row (but it must be in the list). |

Ok, that makes sense, it's not really a problem for me.
Big title seems to work fine now.
I don't know if other people have this bug to, but "next directory" & "previous directory" make the program crash.
this problem is allready several versions happening.
I'm running Win7 x32 (administrator problem?)
I'm not using both options, just reporting this. |

Yes, Next and Prev Dir does not work perfectly some times. It's a bit changed in the new Beta (link updated).
Also improved the Playlist sort tabs and some search dialog issues fixed. |

Will test that soon.
I still got 2 small requests/questions:
(screenshot) http://img831.imageshack.us/i/1by1.jpg/
1. how are .cue files sorted in the left window (dir browser)? I suppase its not by name because it first displays set2, then set3 and finaly set 1
2. Can main performer & title tag from a cuesheet be forced to display in big title view.
I noticed that right now ID3 tags are prior to the main performer/title tag in cues. |

The Tree view is sorted alphabetically - by the System. I think there's a limitation for the text length when the items are sorted. When I test it with some 38 chars long names with the last char A...F, everything is sorted correctly. On double length the sorting does not work anymore.
Cue sheet titles are used prior ID3 for the standard title item. 'a' should display the main Cue sheet performer and title. This works when I test it. The window title shows both: "Track performer - Track title (Sheet performer - Sheet title)". |
