so, graveworm vom mp3.com board liefert wiedermal insiderinfos zum iRiver2:Another beta-tester dropped his iRiver2 on the floor to find out how strong it is... -_-a (I think he is funny but insane)
He dropped iRiver2 from 50cm/100cm/150cm height seven times each.
1) When iRiver2 is dropped from 50cm, CD came out from the machine two out of seven times. The other five out of seven times, iRiver2 kept playing without any sign of damage.
2) When iRiver2 is dropped from 100cm, CD came out from the machine everytime. However, iRiver didn't show any sign of damage.
3) When iRiver2 is dropped from 150cm height, CD came out all seven times, but iRiver2 still didn't show any sign of damage. One time the battery cover came out, but the hinge is intact. So he put back the battery cover in, and the machine worked great.
He dropped the machine with the LCD face down, but the LCD is not damaged.
In addition to this drop test....
4) He threw iRiver2 from 80cm height to the floor. -_-a
Battery cover and CD came out from iRiver, but the machine is still not damaged.
5) He threw iRiver 2 to the wall 1m away from him.
Battery cover, batteries, and CD came out the machine.
The lid got a little loose after this time, but iriver2 still could play music without any problem.
6) He burned the cover with a lighter. and he found that the cover material was deformed in 10sec.
das is ziemlich einfach formuliert, ich glaub nich, dass es einer übersetzung bedarf, hier der link zum original post:
